Thresha Anne Teague Anne Teague of Florence, Alabama passed away peacefully on October 30, 2023, at NAMC hospital. She was 77 years old.

Thresha Teague was born on December 16, 1945, in Decatur, AL, to Grady Wesley Teague and Annie Lee Teague. Thresha had a fulfilling and successful career in nursing for many years. She served in different hospitals from Florence, AL to Cedar Bluff, AL. In the last years of her career, Thresha taught nursing at Walker University and Bevill State Community College. She was an avid animal lover, which included many dogs and cats, to feeding and watching the birds in her front yard.

She was preceded in death by her father, Grady Wesley Teague; her mother, Annie Lee Teague; and her sister, Doris Sue McNees. She is survived by her niece, Lynn (Kerry) Shipp; nephew, Butch McNees; niece, Mary Lee (Jason) Staggs; great-niece, Laura Shipp (Corey) DaLee; great-nephew, Wesley Staggs; great-great-niece, Brooklynn DaLee; great-great-nephew, Logan DaLee; and brother-in-law, Jim (Peggy) McNees; along with loving cousins and friends.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the ICU staff and doctors at NAMC for their compassionate care of Thresha for the past few weeks. The family also extends their love to Thresha’s best friend, Joyce Thacker; cousin, Nancy Turner; and friend, Angie Borden, for their dedication and love to Thresha.

Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia, AL will be handling services for Ms. Teague. There will be a graveside service for Ms. Teague on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Falkville City Cemetery in Falkville, AL. with Jim McNees officiating.
