BLOUNT COUNTY-On Saturday, October 26 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported a traffic accident involving two vehicles that has taken the lives of three people:
“A two-vehicle crash at 12:10 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, has claimed three lives. Michael Anthony Bryant, 46, of Oneonta was killed when the 2006 Ford 500 he was driving crossed the centerline and hit a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Rhonda Smith Guice, 47 of Altoona head-on. Bryant, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Guice and her passenger Carmen Alondra Catete, 22 of Rainbow Citywere also pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 132 two miles south of Altoona. Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.”
