[DEPUTY UPDATE]Doctors were unable to reattach the Deputy’s ear.  He will have to look at reconstructive surgery.  The Deputy was treated and released.
Our Deputy is home and recovering but obviously in pain. We appreciate the community’s thoughts and prayers for him and his family. No one wants to receive the call that their loved one has been hurt and we know that can take an emotional toll.
We also appreciate Lifeguard and the Tri-County VFD for their assistance at the scene.
