Thomas William Parsley  Thomas William Parsley was born July 15th, 1962 to William and Jean (Boyd) Parsley in Flint,
Michigan. During his high school years they moved to Beaver Dam, Kentucky where he met his
wife of 42 years, Tammy (Curtis) Parsley. They have lived in many places, but for the last 20
years, he called Guntersville home. Spreading roots, his children married and gave him the
biggest blessings, his grandchildren. Mr. Parsley passed away March 20th, 2025 after a long
fight with illness and many years of battling leukemia. He is preceded in death by his parents,
William and Jean (Boyd) Parsley and father-in-law Eddie Curtis. He is survived by his wife,
Tammy (Curtis) Parsley; sisters, Beverly (Phil) Teegarden and Joan (Dan) Shepherd; children,

and Audrey Reaves, Graham and Sydney Gillen, and Olivia, Natalie, and Liam Parsley; mother-
in-law, June (Phelps) Curtis; brother-in-law Mike (Sabrina) Curtis; sister-in-love, Cindy (Phelps)
French; and many cherished nieces and nephews. Tom was known for his passion and many
years of service at all levels in the propane industry, and as an advocate for the industry at the
state level in Tennessee and Alabama. He is also well known for his love of cars, especially
trans ams. Anything he did, he did fully with spirit, joy, and a smile on his face. Most of all, he
was known for his love and dedication to his faith and family. No matter the challenges he
faced, his faith was unwavering and peace lived in his heart. A celebration of life will be held
Saturday, March 29th at First Baptist Church of Guntersville. Visitation will be from 1:00pm-
