Mr. Thomas Wayne Copeland, age 77, of McMinnville, TN, died Monday, May 01, 2023, at Manchester Rehab Center. He was born March 10, 1946, in McMinnville, TN, and was the son of the late Marshall Lee Copeland and Clata Juanita Bell Copeland. Wayne was the owner of Morrison tank & Vault, was a member of the National Guard, and a Warren County Commissioner for the 9th Civil District. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Peggy June Groves Copeland, and sisters Elaine Walker and Wanda Rich.
He is survived by brothers-in-law Robert Rich and Freddie (Sandra) Walker, niece Michelle Rich (Lynn Robinson), nephews Justin (Karyn) Rich and Lynn (Jessica) Walker, great nieces Kayla (Daniel) Kincer and Christina Walker, great nephews Kyle Lee VanPatten and Braeden Rich, and great-great nephews Kasen, Kaden, and Kolten Kincer.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 05, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Tim Long and Terry Bell will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
