thomas-mcmanamon-1477235272Thomas “Tom” Patrick McManamon entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, 10/22/16 while he was in his bed at home.

Tom was born April 15, 1954 in Redford, Michigan to the late Patrick and Delores McManamon. One of his greatest attributes was his love for mankind. He loved his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. His favorite hobbies were woodworking and golfing. He loved farming with Carl Workman. He retired from General Motors. He currently worked for Davis Heating and Cooling and Hanback Home Services. Tom was also a fire fighter for Brownstown Fire Department in Brownstown, MI. He was an active member of Sandy Hook Church of Christ.

Funeral services for Tom will be conducted Friday, October 28, 2016 at 2:00PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, TN with Brother Jeff Waldrop, Ricky Frazier, and Eddie Bassham officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00PM and on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gay Odom McManamon. He has four sons: James (Jamie) McManamon of Tacoma, Washington, Timmy (Shelly) McManamon of Pleasant Lake, Michigan, Mark (Crystal) McManamon of Wyndotte, Michigan, and David (Jeanie) McManamon of Pleasant Lake, Michigan. Grandchildren: Bridget McManamon, Savannah Urquhart, D.J. McManamon, Timothy McManamon, Molly McManamon, David McManamon, Mikayla McManamon and Vince McManamon. Great Grandchildren: Trevor and Taylor Urquhart. Six siblings: Daniel (Teresa) McManamon of Howell, Michigan, Theresa (Steve) Bland of South Lyon, Michigan, Michael (Ann) McManamon of Whitmore Lake, Michigan, and Sharon (Marc) Hackman of Livonia, Michigan, Karen (Fred) Stuard of Canton, Michigan, and Brian (Holly) McManamon of Canton, Michigan. Special God Child, Renee Rainey and best friend, Chip Davis.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Patrick and Delores McManamon; Grandson, Michael McManamon; Nephew, Kevin McManamon; Great niece, Maddie Doty.
He was loved by the Odom family. Brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Janie (Bobby) Workman, Kathy (James) Brown, Sharon (Danny) Estes, Jo (Carl) Workman, Shelia (Jack) Patterson, Ray (Cathey) Odom all of Mount, Pleasant, Jeff (Peggy) Odom of Summertown, and Betty (Harold) Reed of Columbia. Special nieces and nephews, Joanna Workman, Emma and Eli Chapman, and Makenzie and Graciee English. Tom was blessed with multiple nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dan McManamon, Mike McManamon, Brian McManamon, Steve Bland, Marc Hackman, and Fred Stuard.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Davis Heating and Cooling and the member of Sandy Hook Church of Christ.
