Thomas Mark PedineThomas (Tom) Mark Pedine, 71, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Sunday, September 29 at his home. Born August 21, 1953, in Bradford, PA, he was a son to Shirley Ann Vinca Pedine and the late Julio Joseph Pedine. He attended the University of Notre Dame and then immediately began his lifelong, successful career in business before retiring as the Business Unit Manager for the Tennessee Region at RockTenn.

Tom was known for his love of Notre Dame football (who beat Louisville the night before he passed, bringing him great joy), his love for his family, and his charming, yet unique humor. He lit up a room with his stories and had a magnetic personality. He was very loved and adored by his three children, Allison, Kaylan, and Jeff and his seven grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Papa.”

Tom’s love for sports and athleticism carried into parenthood as he took great pride coaching his kids and attending recitals. He found the special moments and the quiet whispers in life and ensured that those around him felt seen and loved. Tom also took great pleasure in serving those in need, especially in his own community. He was a devout Catholic and took great satisfaction in his service to the church. He shared his big heart and his wisdom with those he cared deeply for and his kids note that he “ended on a good one.”

Tom is survived by his three children, Allison (Paul), Kaylan (Angela), and Jeff (Tiffany); his former wife, Susie Pedine; his seven grandchildren, Ella, Remi, Cora (their father Mike), Cassidy, Zeke, Mercy, and Shiloh; his mother, Shirley; two brothers, Rick (Kathy) and Jerry (Elizabeth) and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Julio Pedine and grandfather, Angelo Thomas Vinca Jr. and his grandson, Jack Alexander.

Family will receive friends at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 1:00pm until the time of a Funeral Mass beginning at 2:00pm.

A separate burial and ceremony will be held in New Fairfield, CT for close family.
