Thomas “Tom” David Morgan, age 77, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at his residence.
Tom was a past master of Washington Masonic Lodge #36. He rode with Widows Sons, Masonic Riders, and was a member of Cahaba Shriners. He retired from Abbott Laboratories. He loved Alabama football and was an avid outdoorsman.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 57 years, Anne Morgan; daughter, Barbara Estis; grandson, Robert “Gus” Mims; sisters, Wavelene Mary Robert, Alice Baker; nieces, Stephanie Baker, Mandy Shires; and nephew, Justin Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter “Buddy” Morgan; mother, Arleva “Hop” Morgan; brother, Jimmie Morgan; and son-in-law, David Estis.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 02, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 02, 2023, at East Franklin Cemetery (County Hwy 81, Phil Campbell) with full Masonic Last Rites. Pallbearers will be the Brethren Chapter of the Widows Sons.
