Thomas Seaton passed into his eternal reward on Friday May 10th, 2024, at home in Huntsville, Alabama.
He is survived by his daughters, Leisa Hubbard (Larry) and Nichole Carpenter (Brian). He leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Natalie Pineyro, Rachel Deluca, Jake Seaton, Daniel Renner, Riley Renner, Max Renner, and Landon Renner, and great grandchildren, Jadon and Ava Pineyro.
Thomas is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy, of 65 years, his son Darryl Seaton and grandson, Nick Seaton, sisters Earlene Roden, and Maureen Roden, and his parents, Tom and Vernie Seaton.
Thomas Earl and Peggy were married in 1954 when they eloped to Iuka, MS. He was 17 and she was 15. Peggy was the love of his life.
Thomas worked for Huntsville Fire Department for 36 years starting as a recruit and advancing to driver where he drove the “Snorkel” Huntsville’s largest fire truck at that time. He retired in April of 2001 after only using 1 sick day, he truly loved his job.
He started working with his daughter part time in 1990 while continuing his career at the fire department. He worked with her until 2003.
He, along with Peggy, were members of the Rock Family Worship Center.
Services are pending and will be announced by Berryhill Funeral Home.
