Thomas Oscar Robbins, 87, of Whiteville, TN
Mr. Robbins passed away early Wednesday morning at Pine Meadows Healthcare in Bolivar.
A native of Whiteville, Mr. Robbins was the son of the late Tommie Tate Robbins and Amelia Augusta Ferge Robbins. He had lived most of his life in the Vildo Community near Whiteville.
On April 12, 1947, he married the former Izora Bishop and they were married 56 years before her passing January 31, 2004. Mr. Robbins was a member of the Whiteville First United Methodist Church and had worked at the Milan Arsenal and also began working at Harmon Automotive in Bolivar in 1963 and was there over 20 years. He enjoy coon hunting and was an avid horseman.
He leaves a daughter, Brenda Faye Tosh of Whiteville; two sons, Thomas Allen Robbins of Lakeland and James Michael Robbins of Whiteville; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters.
