Mr. Thomas Newsom, 80, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 12 pm at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Morrow and close friend Earl Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in Clay Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Newsom; daughter, Laura Brewer; son, Geral Newsom (Andrea); grandchildren, Devin Newsom, Dylan Newsom, Paige Brewer, Blaine Brewer (Crystal); great grandchild, Oakley Blaine Brewer; sisters, Ann Cranford, Mary Rooks, Naomi Knopps, Evella Heatherington.
