Thomas Morgan Lynch, Sr., age 91, died peacefully on December 10, 2022 in Huntsville, AL.

Morgan was born and raised in Franklin, TN. He attended and graduated from Vanderbilt University where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity and received his degree in Electrical Engineering. Morgan moved to Huntsville with his bride in 1961 where he spent his career working at the newly formed Marshall Space Flight Center. He was a team member of the Apollo Program until its completion and then both the Hellfire and Patriot Programs.
Morgan loved his family, was a master woodworking craftsman, was an avid electric train collector and a really good cook and baker.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Paulette Cope Lynch; sister, Evelyn Syfrett, of Tallahassee, FL and two nieces. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, William Witson and Nancy Ferguson Lynch; son, Thomas Morgan Lynch, Jr. and brother, William Witson Lynch, Jr.
Morgan is to be buried in a private graveside service in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Franklin, TN. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
