Mr. Thomas Michael (Mike) Eason, age 67, passed away late Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at his home in Darden. He was born February 1, 1957 in Sumter, SC. He was an employee of Nidec for over 40 years, retiring in 2019. He loved his church and was a member of Central Church of Christ in Decaturville, where he was song leader. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends, and played many rounds with Donald Kyle and Joe Morris. Mr. Eason enjoyed all types of sports, and never missed following his daughter, Crystal, through her basketball career.
Mr. Eason was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Thomas Albert Eason.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mrs. Judy Eason; his son, Reilly Eason (Ryan); his daughter, Crystal Livingston (Micah); his mother, Peggy Eason; his brother, Shawn Eason; his sister, Teresa Creason (Gary); and two grandchildren, Ava Livingston and Thomas Eason.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM, Friday, October 4, 2024, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Pafford Scotts Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, 4 – 9 PM and on Friday, 10 AM – 3 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.
