Thomas Waldrep Who Died Saturday – February 11, 2023 , Was Born on: February 13, 1942 In _Town Creek, AL, to Elbert Waldrep and Eula Scogin Waldrep.
Thomas worked for Ciba-Geigy Corporation for 36 years. He moved the Ceeco Machinery Telecommunication Division from Chicago, IL to Atlanta, GA. His position was the Process Engineer
Manager during his years with the company. He invented the Terminix box , which is used to join two or more terminals together and the Hawk – which is a water proof line enclosure for telecommunications which the company got a patent for both of them. He was recognized by the company for his inventions and presented with a crystal hawk.
His hobbies were fishing and hunting. He loved fishing whether it was small creek, deep sea or ice fishing. He also loved hunting – pheasant, deer, rabbit, even wild boar. His pride and joy were spending time with his family and restoring his father’s 1971 c/10 Chevrolet pickup which he named EW Sunshine. Any man can be a father but it takes a special man to be a daddy.
