Thomas Lane Miller won the victory and transformed to eternal life Friday, October 25, 2024, at his residence in Tupelo after battling cancer. He was 59 years old. Born on September 6, 1965, in Amarillo, Texas to Charles Leland Miller and Bobbie Willmath Posey Miller, he graduated from Amarillo High School in 1984 and obtained a BS degree from West Texas State University. He married Deanna Catherine Lester at the University Avenue Church of Christ in Austin, TX on July 15, 1989, a marriage of 35 years. A man with a sharp, analytical mind and a sterling personality, Tom was an investor by trade. He loved his friends, movies, reading, fishing, music, and his church, West Main Church of Christ, of which he and Deanna faithfully attended and participated. He strongly supported children’s homes and mission work both at home and abroad.
