  Thomas Jerry Wilson, Sr.Thomas “Jerry” Wilson, Sr. was born Saturday, August 26, 1939 and passed into paradise Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

Jerry did many things including telling his family stories of how he opened Wilson Service Co. in 1969 where he rebuilt gas pump computers and ran that successful business for some 40 plus years.

The second Sunday in July, 1973, Jerry gave his life to Jesus and, in 1975, he accepted the call into the ministry. He took the Gospel into 13 different countries, pastored three churches and made mention of our Lord Jesus Christ every where he went. He practiced what he preached and always used the slogan, “Have a good day with Jesus”. He was well-known widely for his piano playing and enjoyed being on his farm.

Jerry is survived by his wife, who has been by his side since 1963, Nancy Mosby Wilson; three children, LaTeisha (Glenn) Childers, Thomas “Tommy” Jerry Wilson, Jr. and Jody (Kristie) Wilson, all of Middleton, TN; six grandchildren, Rocky, Wesley, Morgan, T. J., Brooke and Chelsey; and five great grandchildren, Jacey, Blaine, Briar, Case and Cannon; a brother, Wayne Wilson; and sister, Frances Carmack.

He was preceded in death by his father, James “Spencer” Wilson, Sr.; and his mother, Lillian Williams Wilson; and two brothers, Spence Wilson, Jr. and Freddy Wilson.
