Thomas James Lang, Sr., age 87. of Harvest, died Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. His family may host a celebration of life at a later date. Mr. Lang will be interred alongside his wife, Joanne Lang, in Douglas Cemetery, Douglas, AL. Parkway Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Mr. Lang was born April 2, 1936, in Morgan County to V. F. Lang and Louise Eakes Lang. He was preceded in death by his wife, as above; parents; three brothers, Rayburn Lang, Danny Lang, and Cecil Lang; and three sisters, Marie Noblitt, Sue Maltbie, and Ivarene Bennett.
He is survived by his son, Thomas James “Tom” Lang, Jr.; brother, Allen Lang (Mary) of Albertville; sister, Roma Rose of Moulton; special friend, Carol Lang; and a host of nephews and nieces.
