Thomas Howard Lamb III, 73, passed away peacefully at his home in Weaver, Alabama, surrounded by his wife and family on March 17, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Samantha Lamb, brothers Terry Lamb and family of Anniston, AL, and Timothy Lamb of Clearwater, Florida, and a sister Lynette Lamb and family of Sanford, Maine. His son Christopher Beals and family of Birmingham, AL. His stepson Steven Hodge of Mobile, AL. Many other family members and friends who love him and have prayed for him throughout his extended illness. Preceded in death by his father Thomas H. Lamb II and mother, Betty Josephine Rohrman.
Tom was a Military Air Craft Mechanic for a good portion of his life, a State Trooper, Truck driver and in the later years in his career he helped build military tanks while working at General Dynamics and a Tool Room Technician for the company that disposed of the chemicals at the Anniston Army Depot before retiring. After retiring he took up an email ministry with the Billy Graham Ministry which he did for 10+ years. He was a member of AI Baptist Church in Heflin, AL.
A memorial service is being held in the chapel on Saturday, March 23, from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Friends and family are invited to attend.
