Funeral service for Thomas Hillie Pittman 93, are set for 3:00 pm Saturday at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel with Bro. Chuck Hassell officiating. Interment will be in the Corinth National Cemetery.
Family will receive friends following the service.

Hillie died December 17, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born January 19, 1927 in Alcorn Co. MS. To the late Thomas Riley and Beulah Taylor Pittman, he was an US Army Veteran, serving at the end of WWII. He worked at Burns Motor Co. and Johnson Motor Co. as Parts Dept. Manager. He was retired from the Corinth Housing Authority. He was a long time member of Harper Road Christian Church and Waldron Street Christian Church where he severed as Elder. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Garvin Pittman, Lester Pittman, Ernest Pittman, Ross Pittman; and sisters, Vera Wilbanks, Cordelia Phillips, Maxine Potts.
He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Waldron Street Christian Church or charity of one’s choice.
