Thomas H. Norris, 78, of Hazel Green, Alabama went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2020 while surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Flora Bell Norris, and brother William “Pete” Norris.
Mr. Norris is survived by his son David Norris and wife Kristi; his daughter Darla Nash and husband Dan; grandchildren Landon Norris, Leanna Bozeman and husband Alan; Lindsey Norris, Audrey Nash, Olivia Nash; Great granddaughter Raelyn Bozeman. He is also survived by his sister Pauline Jarrett and her husband LeRoy; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Mr. Norris was the owner of Norris TV Sales & Service for 58 years. Customers would come from all over North Alabama and Southern Tennessee and the “TV Man” had a great reputation for taking care of his customers. Mr. Norris was also retired from Redstone Arsenal.
Mr. Norris was Honorably Discharged after serving his Country in the United States Army.
Mr. Norris loved singing, playing guitar, piano and fiddle and often entertained on Wednesdays at the New Sharon senior center with other musician friends. He loved dancing, being outdoors, gardening, mowing, working on his farm.
Pallbearers are Landon Norris, Alan Bozeman, Dustin Hill, Steve Jarrett, Brian Jarrett & Kerry Norman.

There will be a drive-thru viewing at Hazel Green Funeral Home on Thursday from 10 until 12pm. Due to Alabama’s legal restrictions, all guests must remain in their cars. There will be a drive-in graveside service at 12:30pm on Thursday at Concord Cemetery with Pastor Benny Berry officiating. To comply with Alabama’s legal restrictions, everyone must remain in their cars. The service will be broadcast on FM radio in the cemetery.
