Thomas Glenn Davis, age 82, of Florence passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013. Visitation will be Sunday, December 8, 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Harvil Gray officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be John Davis, Bradley Davis, Lowery Davis, Lloyd Davis, Brandon Davis, Tyler Davis and Harley Davis. Mr. Davis served in the Air Force as a truck driver, after leaving the Air Force he continued driving a truck for 55 years. He was preceded in death by mother, Harriett Bloss, father, Lowery V. Davis, granddaughter, Abbagail Davis, grandson, Phillip Kyle McDonald, and step-son, Terry Blevins. Survivors include: Wife: of 51 years Mildred Davis. Daughters: Charlotte Thompson, of Kissimmee Florida, Carol Mooney of Florence.
