Mr. Thomas Gene Baker, 71, passed away at the Harton Regional Medical Center Wednesday April 8, 2015 with his family near. He was a coalminer, worked at Hamilton Plastics and Yorozu. He was born in New Castle, Indiana on June 20, 1943 to Jesse Edward and Laura Bell Wright Baker who preceded him in death along with his brother, James Baker.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Gipson Baker; daughter, Amy Guffey; son, Kelly (Amanda) Baker; sister, Suz (Jim) Cook, Indiana; brothers, Dick (Bonita) Baker and Dan (Liz) Baker, Indiana; grandchildren, Kristin (Spencer), Lyndsey, Morgan, Dillon, Hunter, Bailey, Raylan and Ayden; great-grandson, Cason and soon to be great-grandson, Easton; several nieces and nephews.
