Thomas Franklin Hobbs, age 82, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Saturday, May 13th, 2023, at Williamson Medical Center.
He was a native of Lincoln County, the son of the late Richard Loyd and Gelia Mai Gilbert Hobbs. He was a Chief Warrant Officer 4 auditor with the Tennessee National Guard, after proudly serving overseas in the Army. He loved westerns, college football, but most of all, he loved “his little family”, and was a member of the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Anna Marie Hobbs Adams, and two brothers, Guy Alwyn Hobbs, and Samuel Loyd Hobbs.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kathy Bishop Hobbs, three daughters, Tami Hobbs Chapman of Chapel Hill, Bambi Hobbs Muylle of Churubusco, Indiana, and Pandi Hobbs of Columbia, grandchildren, Drake Muylle, Krista Chapman, and Trace Muylle.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023, at 11:00 am from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in Short Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Monday, May 15th, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and will continue on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 until the funeral hour.
