Thomas Edward “Tommy” Newton IV, age 54, of Southside, Alabama passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. He was born November 30, 1966. Tommy was a lifelong resident of Etowah County and a graduate of Southside High School. He had a pool installation and maintenance company in this area. He was the ultimate Elvis Presley fan and usually made his annual pilgrimage to Graceland at Christmas, as well as displaying lifesize cutouts of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe on either side of his Christmas tree. Tommy loved all kinds of sports, especially football. He was also enjoyed watching Westerns and horror movies. Tommy will be remembered for his big heart. He loved his family, friends, and truly loved life. He is preceded in death by his father Thomas Edward Newton III. He is survived by his loving mother, Rita Foster; stepfather Max Foster; sister Tammy Watts; brother in law Craig Watts; nephew Ryan; nieces Lauren and Emily; great nephew Jamison; grandmother Betty Newton; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; any many friends.
