Thomas Earl “Nat” Nance was born on July 31, 1960 in Madison County, Alabama. He departed this life on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mamie Lue Petty-Nance, Willie Nance and John Willie McCrary, Sr.; brothers: Bobby Dean Nance, John Willie McCrary, Jr., James Louis McCrary, Sr., David Lee Battle, Sr., and Luther Nance

He leaves to cherish four daughters: Laketa (Christopher) Seay of Madison, AL, Teleshia Nance of Norcross, GA, Katrina (George) Crutcher and Natalie Strickland, all of Huntsville, AL; two sons: Thomas Torrance Baker of Capshaw, AL and Thomas Terrell of Norcross, GA; nineteen grandchildren; brothers: Reverend Dr. Jessie (Mattie) Hambrick of Flora, MS, Ray (Burlee) Hambrick, Jimmie (Edith) McCrary, Sr., Waylon Nance, Curtis (Clara) Nance, William (Leaser) Nance; sisters: Sherry Nance and Melisha Nance of Huntsville, AL, Angela (Mack) Nance-Woods of Gurley, AL and Ester Lacy of New Market, AL.

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, June 3, 2017, at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church (292 Cemetery Road, New Market, AL 36761) with Pastor Larry Davidson, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Mr. Nance will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
