Thomas David (Tarzan) Holt was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on September 28, 1953 the son of the late William Eugene and McNeva Smith Holt.
On February 28, 2000 he was united in marriage to Sandra Kay Lott, who survives.
Mr. Holt was a truck driver for shipper choice and also had done dozer work for Frankie Carrol and Tom Harwell. Mr. Holt worked on sewing machines in several factories and ran a sewing factory in Sardis, Tennessee. Mr. Holt was of Pentecostal belief. He loved to fish, play music and always had a garden big enough for all his friends and family. Mr. Holt loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and the apple of his eyes was D.J., his little man.
In addition to his wife Sandra of fourteen years, he is survived by his children, Dwayne Holt of Adamsville, Tennessee, Daryl Holt of Saltillo, Tennessee, Dillon Holt of Saltillo, Tennessee and Lisa Wolfe of Humboldt, Tennessee
his step children, Jeff Howell of Henderson,Tennessee, Jesse Record of Tiptonville, Tennessee and Tiffany Adkins of Henderson, Tennessee
20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
one brother, Steve Holt of Milledgeville, Tennessee
one sister, Carolyn Staley of Jackson, Tennessee
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Charles Holt, one brother, Roger Holt and one sister, Patricia McMahan
