Thomas HobbyThomas Cordell Hobby, age 81, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, at his residence.

He was born June 19th, 1943, in Marshall County, Tennessee, to the late Odell and Sarah Cozart Hobby. He retired as owner of Hobby’s Plumbing and Electric Repairs and was a member of the Church of Christ. He loved riding, raising and showing horses, especially spotted saddle horses.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd, Billy Lee, and Jimmy Hobby.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kathy Collins Hobby, two sons, Dewayne (Shelia) Hobby of Lewisburg, and Phillip (Kim Dale) Hobby of Rally Hill, two brothers, Charles Hobby of Belfast and Odell Hobby of Orlando, FL, a sister in law, Elizabeth Hobby of Belfast, and a brother in law, Ray Collins of Unionville, four grandchildren, Ashley Hobby, Shelby Hutfiltz, Will Hobby, and Cheyanne Dale, six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many that called him Gramps.

Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

London Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
