Thomas Copeland Ray
Thomas was born May 15, 1930 to parents Thomas Presely Ray and Sadie “Copeland” Ray in Giles County. Thomas retired from Union Carbide after 31 years as a crane operator. He loved his family very much, and was a wonderful father and grandfather. Thomas loved to spend time outdoors hunting and fishing.
Funeral services for Thomas will be Saturday November 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. Family and friends may visit from 4-8:00 p.m. on Friday November 1st at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. American Legion Post 19 will conduct military honors. Brother James Dickey will officiate the service.
Thomas is survived by: Sons; Thomas B. (Dena) Ray, and Randy G. (Pamela) Ray, Grandsons; Thomas Stephen (Jaymi) Ray, Adam W. (Amanda) Ray, Brandon Lane Ray, and Eric Glen Ray, Grand-daughters; Ashley Bice, and Korie Bice, Great grandchildren; Breanna Ray, A.J. Ray, Jaymes Ray, E.J. Ray, Tristen Ray, Khloe Ray, Jodi Ray, Carson Ray and Amelia Ray, Sister; Burdean Ray Hickman, and numerous nieces and nephews.
