Thomas Clark Beaty, 87, of Meridianville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024, at his home, with his beloved wife by his side. Born on August 30, 1937, in Edinburg, Illinois, he was the son of the late Walter Beaty and Lucille (Beaty) Mitchellson.
Tom had a distinguished career with Chrysler Corporation. He transferred from Kokomo, Indiana, to Huntsville, Alabama, in 1987, where he served as Human Resource Manager until his retirement in April 1991. He was also a proud member of the Masonic Lodge.
A devoted fan of Alabama football, Tom cherished his life in Alabama and often shared his favorite saying, “TCB. Taking care of business-by golly.”
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Susan McNeill Beaty; his son, Dr. Michael Beaty (Karen); his daughter, Sue (Chuck) Antony; and his son, Kaison Ray. He also leaves behind stepsons Jason Ray and Nathan Ray, along with 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Mitchelson, and his brother, John E. Mitchelson.
Tom will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and the love he shared with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
