Thomas Brian CollierThomas Brian Collier, 58 of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on July 5th, 2024, at Athens Limestone Hospital. He was born on June 13th, 1966, to John McBride and Betty Collier.
Brian was a devoted husband to Michelle for 37 years. He was a loving father to Amy Herron (Ryan) and Ashley Beddingfield (John). The other loves of Brian’s life were his granddaughters, Savannah Collier, Collier Herron, Shelby Kate Herron, and Blakely Grace Herron. Brian’s brothers, Wade Boswell and Bryan Whitt and sister, Lynn Boswell also held very special places in Brian’s heart.
Brian lived life to the fullest everyday by spending time with his granddaughters, fishing, hunting, and cooking. Brian was a loyal employee of Johnny Hatchet (Dixie Electric) as an electrician. He would always go above and beyond for family, friends, and co-workers. Brian was also an avid Alabama football fan who loved attending games.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, John McBride and Betty Collier, sister, Ann Grant, and his brother, John McBride Jr.
Flowers and arrangements can be delivered to Lake Ida at 2:30 pm or later on July 13th, 2024.
Brian’s Memorial Service will be held July 13th, 2024, at:
Lake Ida Café and Fine Arts

Athens, AL
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The service from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Hatchett, Jacob Hatchett, Ryan Herron, Wade Boswell, John Beddingfield, J.R. McGuire, Johnathan Seale, and Bryan Whitt.
