Thomas Anthony Merrill, 28 years old, born in Monroe, Louisiana and a long-time resident of Athens, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 19th, 2017. He was a proud employee of Mid-South Overhead Crane Services, Pulaski, Tennessee.
Anthony was a loving and devoted spouse to Tabitha O’dell and a loving father to 16 month old Noah Anthony Merrill. Anthony was a beloved son to Carla Teresa Culberson and the late James Harold Culberson; loving brother to Craig (Kristen) Culberson, Greg (Ashley) Culberson, Kristin (Keith) Berding, Amber (John) Dixon, Isaac Merrill and JC Culberson; adored uncle to 3 nieces and 5 nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Anthony is survived by loving grandparents Thomas T. and Shirley Merrill.
Visitation will be held at Rogersville Funeral Home, 18257 Hwy 72 Rogersville, Alabama 35652, Thursday, August 24th from 10-11a.m. with funeral services immediately following. Burial will be held in the adjoining cemetery following the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Good Samaritan Account that has been set up at Bank Independent, in the name of Thomas Anthony Merrill, in Rogersville, Alabama.
