In Loving Memory of Mr. Buford Thomas “Tommy” Barron and Mrs. Katherine Louise Barron.
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Buford Thomas “Tommy” Barron, aged 81, and Mrs. Katherine Louise Barron, aged 79, both residents of Albertville, Alabama. They departed from this earthly life just a few short hours from one another on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Remarkably, they had shared 58 years of a loving and devoted marriage. They were both dedicated members of New Macedonia Baptist Church for over 50 years.
A joint funeral service to celebrate their lives will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Bro. Ken Gillilan officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday. The final resting place for this inseparable couple will be at Memory Hill Cemetery.
Tommy Barron, born on January 11, 1943, was a man of unwavering strength, kindness, and warmth. He dedicated his life to his family and community, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Josie Barron.
Katherine Louise Barron, born on May 27, 1944, was a beacon of love and grace. She brought joy and comfort to all who were fortunate enough to be in her presence. Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearlie Water, and 12 siblings.
Together, Tommy and Katherine are survived by their loving daughter, Sherene Thompson (Ricky), grandchildren, Stephanie Mitchell (Josh Baker) and Jessica Formby (Paul); as well as great-grandchildren, Garren Baker and Bobbi Kate Formby.
In the midst of our grief, let us remember the beautiful legacy of love and commitment that Tommy and Katherine leave behind. May they rest in eternal peace, hand in hand, as they embark on their next journey together.
