Thomas Allen “Tommy” Dial, Jr., 55, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born August 21, 1967, in Alabama to Thomas Allen and Bettye J. McQueen Dial. He worked as a warehouse manager for Ferguson Enterprises before becoming disabled. Tommy was an avid Alabama fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed riding his scooter around town and watching wrestling and sci-fi movies.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Mike Deaton officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Tonya Sue Whitt Dial; his two daughters, Samantha Westmoreland (Zach) of Mantachie and Sarah Dial of Fulton; his grandchildren, Presley Westmoreland, Vayda Klair Westmoreland, and Levi Hamer; two sisters, Debra Burgett (David) and Donna Brown, both of Tupelo; his father-in-law, Robert Whitt; his sister-in-law, Kim Hood (Danny); and a special friend, Marty Hughes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Teresa Whitt.
Pallbearers will be Marty Hughes, Zach Westmoreland, Terry Whitt, David Burgett, Adam Burgett, and Mikeal Franks.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 7, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
