Mrs. Cricket died on June 28, 2021 at Providence Assisted Living in Senatobia. She was born on February 22, 1939 in Section, AL to the late Archie and Monteen Haynes. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Senatobia. She was a loving Christian, mother, wife, grandmother, homemaker and hostess to many in her home. The most important honor to her was being a servant of the Lord. She enjoyed many years of doing missionary work in the U.S. and South America with her late husband. She loved having family, friends, and people in need to her home. She was a wonderful cook and loved every second of it. Ms. Cricket and Jake enjoyed fishing, especially for bass. It was never too hot or too cold for fishing. She also enjoyed quail and dove hunting with Jake. She was sweet, humble, hard working and a servant. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Thethel “Scooter” Fullwood and husband Jamie of Shiloh; brother, Robert (Butch) Ayers and wife Pam of Brookhaven, MS; 6 grandchildren, 1 granddaughter in love; and 1 great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Gerald “Jake” Ayers and her son Archie “Andy” Ayers.
