Theresa Miller Hutcheson, born May 6, 1932, fell asleep in death at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care on January 15, 2024.
She was the first born of Lawrence and Marabel Miller’s ten children and was born and raised in Lonaconing, MD. At a young age she made it her
lifelong goal to support the kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for. In 1950 she symbolized her dedication to Jehovah God by water baptism.
She married Robert Hutcheson in 1954 and together they raised a son and daughter.
She spent her life faithfully endeavoring to imitate Jesus Christ by helping others learn about the happy future that God’s kingdom will bring for the earth as promised in the Bible.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Skip Hutcheson; her son-in-law, David Grimwood; her brothers, Billy, Jimmy and Curlee Miller; her brother-in-law, William Rosskamp; and her sisters-in-law, Ann, Dot, and Juanita Miller; as well as all her husband’s brothers and their wives.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Truejoy (TJ) Grimwood; her daughter-in-law, Maxine Hutcheson; her granddaughter, Sabrina Hallett and her husband, Erin; her grandson, Brandon Hutcheson; her great grandchildren, Marcus Taylor Hallett, Gavin Ross Mitchell, and Brooklyn Sloane Hutcheson; her sisters, Lois Tow and her husband Ron, and Margie Rosskamp; her brothers, Glen Miller and his wife Martha, Lawrence Miller, Jack Miller, and Arlen Miller and his wife, Virginia; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Marilyn and Debbie Miller.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Regency Retirement Village Pathways Memory Care for the loving home they provided Theresa since April 2023, the Huntsville Hospital ER staff, Dr. Tangutur, the nurses and staff from Huntsville Hospital 7th floor, and the nurses and staff at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care.
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 27 th at 1:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 16121 Chaney Thompson Road, Huntsville, AL 35803 with a memorial service to follow at 2:30 p.m.
