Theresa Jane Pounders, 63, of Leighton, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. at Spring Valley Baptist Church with a service to follow at 11 a.m. Bro. Ralton McCarly will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
She was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded by her father, Jesse Frank Lackey.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Pounders of Tuscumbia; mother, Mary Jane Lackey of Tuscumbia; daughter, Jessica Jeffreys (Torey) of Muscle Shoals; brothers, Myron Lackey and Danny Lackey of Tuscumbia; sister, Lisa Chaney of Tuscumbia; grandchildren, Haley Jeffreys and Ella Jeffreys of Muscle Shoals.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Lackey, Justin Isbell, Daryl Tverberg, Michael Lackey, Chris Lackey, and Daniel Lackey.
