Theresa Ann Spann, age 74, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Crews Cemetery. Bro. Mitch Nethery, Mr. Kevin Black and Mr. Austin Spann to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.

Theresa was born on January 7, 1949 in Sulligent, AL to the late J.C. Crutchfield and the late Ruby Pinkerton Crutchfield. She was a 1966 graduate of Sulligent High School and later graduated from Bevill State Community College. Theresa worked several years at Reltoc. She was most known for her very loving and faithful service to Crews Community Church. She loved children and greatly enjoyed teaching VBS and driving the church van to pick them up when they needed a ride. She also valued her role as a Sunday School Teacher and Church Treasurer for over 30 years. Theresa’s loving smile, compassionate heart and tender spirit will always be cherished and forever missed by all those who loved and knew her.
