Theresa Ann Childress, 62, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. She was born in Red Bay, AL and worked as a receptionist for twenty-five years. She served in the U.S. Army.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 23, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS. There will be no funeral services. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS assisted the family.
She is survived by two sons – James Childress (Madelynn) and Justin Childress (Ashley Brewer); four grandchildren – Riley, Gage, Seras and Sydney; three sisters – Mendy Kilgore (Mike), Judy Parham (Arthur) and Angelia Gonzalez; one brother – Doyle Townsend (Julia) and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Martha Wilson Townsend.
