Theoplis “Jeff ” Ford was born August 10th, 1956 to the late Mary Ford Kent in New Market Alabama. He passed away peacefully Monday July 3rd, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital.
Jeff graduated in 1976 from Tuskegee Institute High. After graduation he worked for many years in janitorial services. He relocated back to Huntsville Alabama in 1996. He worked several locations including Huntsville Hospital in janitorial services.
Jeff enjoyed reading, sports and current events. He enjoyed holidays with family and friends. He lived his life as a quiet and humble person and enjoyed his time with his close-nit friends.
He was proceeded in death by his mother Mary Kent and Stepfather Arthur Kent, Sister Jessie Ruth Parker, and Brothers John Lee Ford, Bobby Ford, and William Ford. He leaves to cherish his loving memories two sisters, Dorothy (BJ) Latham, of Huntsville AL, and Marilyn (Dwight) Sparks of Meridianville, AL; a sister-in-law, Ethel Ford; a special cousin Jarvis Hampton; and a host of family friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Saint Rebecca Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Trevor Stewart officiating. Interment will be in the Saint Ruth Cemetery. Mr. Ford will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 7, 2023, and 8:30 until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
