Theodore “Theo” Johnson, born on November 29, 1985, in Hinesville, Georgia, bid farewell to this world on February 8, 2024, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. He leaves behind a legacy cherished by many.

Theo is survived by his loving fiancé: Kayla Rowe; father, Mark (Debra Rae) Johnson, and his devoted mother, Teresa (Jean Newman) Steele. He also leaves behind his siblings: Justin Beckham, Matthew Steele, Jennifer (Jeremy) Maxwell, and Daniel Perez. His memory will forever be treasured by his nephews and nieces: Robert Caskey, Felix Caskey, Aubry Johnson, Draken Shaden, Ellana Perez, and Bastian Perez.

Theo found purpose in his work as a Heavy Equipment Operator at DTG Recycling and excelled as a dorm leader during his time in job corp. His passion for the outdoors and wilderness was evident to all who knew him. He took pride in his graduation from the Nols Outdoor Leadership Program, a transformative experience in Wyoming where he honed his skills in wilderness survival and medical emergencies.

In every facet of his life, Theo exemplified dedication, kindness, and an adventurous spirit that inspired those around him. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and colleagues alike. May his soul find eternal peace amidst the vast wilderness he so dearly loved.

The care of Theodore A. Johnson and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Williams Funeral Home.
