Thelma “Ms. Lois” Singleton went to be with the Lord on February 29, 2020. Ms. Lois fought a long hard battle against cancer but finally surrendered her body to it. Her spirit has found peace in the arms of her Lord. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Marie Rollins-Johnson. Ms. Lois spent her life in the service and care of others.
She is survived by her loving husband. Willie Singleton; three devoted daughters, Dreamlyn Johnson Poindexter and Jennifer Banda-Lopez of Madison, Alabama, and Winnie Brinkley of Gainesville, Georgia; two sons-in-law, Victor and Leslie; ten grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her sweet sister, Glenda Raysor and brother-in-law, Ottis Raysor; and three nephews she adored, Anthony, Lewis and LaMar, all of Hampton, Virginia.
The viewing of Ms. Lois will be Friday March 6th from 5-7 pm at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Saturday March 7th at 2 pm. in the funeral home chapel. Following services Ms. Lois will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery.
