  Thelma Jewell White age 96 of Madison and formerly of Center Star died Thursday at her residence.
Mrs. White was born July 18, 1928 in Limestone County, Alabama, she was a member of Center Star Methodist Church and a homemaker. She loved gardening and was an avid quilt piecer. She loved all animals and was a country music fan, above all she loved her Grandkids and Great Grandson.
Survivors include her daughter, Paula (Britt) Fergerson of Madison. Son. David (Shelia) White of Old Hickory, Tennessee. Grandchildren, Brittney (Kyle) Welch. Justin (Amanda) Fergerson. John White. Paul White and Krystal  (Elliott) Mether. Great Grandson, Kai Welch. Daughter-In–Law, Suhee White of Harvest. Brother, Ronald Jewell of Arab, Alabama. Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Doyce White. Daughter, Pamela White and Son, Noel White.
Pallbearers: Justin Ferguson, Kyle Welch, Terry McGee, Larry McGee, Joel White, John White and Casey Jones
Services will be 2 pm Friday, October 18, 2024 at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Jim Ford officiating. burial will follow in the Harvey Cemetery in Rogersville. Visitation will be Friday from 1 pm until service at the funeral home.
Family has asked anyone wanting to make donations to do that to any No Kill Animal Shelter of your choice.
