Thelma Dean Allen age 91 of Liberty passed away Saturday morning December 28, 2024, at NHC Healthcare of Cookeville. She was born October 15, 1933, to her parents the late Rob and Gracie Parkerson Crook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Allen. Ms. Allen was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and worked at the Shirt Factory for over 40 years. She is survived by son, Albert (Bonnie) Allen of Liberty; niece, Mary Nokes (Larry) Robinson of Liberty; cousins, Margie Smith of Smithville, and Mary Nell Paris of Murfreesboro; fur babies, Pete and Sadie. Funeral services will be held 1:PM Tuesday December 31, 2024, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday 3:PM until 7:PM and Tuesday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Dr. Cripps and Staff and to NHC Healthcare of Cookeville for the love and care shown Mrs. Allen.
