Now for some information on -The Summit Rehabilitation at Mitchell-Hollingsworth by -The Summit Rehabilitation at Mitchell-Hollingsworth:
“The renovations and additions at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation Center are designed to improve the patient/resident experience, staffing efficiencies, and overall appearance. Our top priority is to give continuous quality care, and there’s nothing better than a quality environment to provide such care in.
The Summit Rehabilitation now has a dedicated 60-bed unit with direct access to the newly updated rehabilitation gym. The new dedicated entrance and drive thru welcomes patients and families to the unit. An updated welcome desk assists and improves visitor orientation and relocated case management spaces allow teams to better interface and be centrally located to their specific tasks.
The new conference room provides staff and families with a private space for meetings and is positioned right off the front lobby for easy visualization and access. The relocated and reconstructed nurse station provides a central location for all activity of the new unit. Dining and living spaces centered around the new nurse station provide space for patients to socialize, or to organize small functions with family members. New finishes, paint, and flooring throughout each corridor and unit room provides a light and welcoming atmosphere to match the environment created by the staff.
Construction was completed in October by Rives Construction with design provided by TurnerBatson Architects.”
