THE SHOALS – The Salvation Army will be accepting applications for young children (18 and younger) and senior citizens who wish to participate in the organization’s Angel Tree program. This is for residents in Colbert, Franklin, and Lauderdale counties. The Salvation Army Angel Tree supplies the names and a wish list of applicants offering the community an opportunity to provide Christmas for a child, an entire family, or a senior citizen. This will be the last registration this season.
WHEN: Registration is in person on October 23, 2023 from 9am-3pm.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
- Applications will be in person only and must be completed by the head of household. There is no online registration this year.
- Only 1 application per dwelling, and it will include all residents.
- The following items are required when completing your application:
-ID’s for each adult household member.
-Birth certificates required for all children 18 and younger.
-Proof of need:
-Section 8 or HUD lease documents.
-Medicaid or SNAP eligibility letter.
OR
-Proof of all bills(Rent, utilities, insurance, loans, car payments, etc.)
-Verification of income for the household. If there is no income, proof of how living expenses and bills are being paid.
- Please do not bring children to the appointment with you.
