FLORENCE – The Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa announced Monday the return of Blue Mondays in the beautiful 360 Grille.
Here’s what they have to say about the benefit:
Beginning June 6 and every Monday through August 29 guests can enjoy the 360 Grille version of a blue plate special. Partial proceeds of each meal will go to Safeplace, Inc. the Northwest Alabama agency promoting healthy relationships by providing education, intervention and safe places.
Marriott Shoals General Manager, Larry Bowser said, “It is so important for us give back to this great Shoals community. Four years ago we had the idea to open the restaurant, which is usually closed on Mondays. Our plan was to educate people about Safeplace and help raise money for them. To date we have been able to provide Safeplace with $16,000 and we are looking forward to another record summer!”
“We are extremely appreciative to Marriott Shoals for their partnership with this event. Blue Mondays has proven to be a great opportunity to let people know about our services and to provide additional funding,” commented Rachel Hackworth, Executive Director of Safeplace, Inc.
The Blue Monday menu will consist of four primary menus that will rotate weekly. The cost is $25 per person and is available every Monday beginning June 6 and ending August 29. Reservations are recommended.
This is also the 35th year that Safeplace, Inc. has provided services in Northwest Alabama.
