The Nina and the Pinta and the… well, you get the point. THEY’RE HERE!

FLORENCE HARBOR – It is always fun to see 15th Century replica sailing ships… Particularly when they’re so famous. This afternoon, the Nina and the Pinta, of Columbus-fame arrived right on time at the Florence Harbor Marina. The ships are in The Shoals through September 16th to give tours of the replicas of the ships that discovered The New World.  Anybody wishing to take a tour of these wonderful ships may do so for a small fee of $8-dollars for adults, $7-dollars for seniors, $6-dollars for students and kids under 5-years old are free. No reservations are necessary. Tours are conducted from 9:00 until 6:00.
