The dynamic trio, 3 Wheel Drive….AMHOF April 21st

amhof-logo-250x250-200x190 featuredTUSCUMBIA– The dynamic trio, 3 Wheel Drive will perform a benefit show for the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in the lobby of the museum Tuesday, April 21 at 7pm.

The group is composed of Jim Seales, Donnie Carpenter and Mitchell Curtis, and has entertained audiences with weekly appearances at Flobama in Florence for a number of years, before ending their run there last year.

Seales was the guitarist with Shenandoah during the bands formative years, while 1441271_620310361359698_493976471_nCarpenter, a Shoals native, played on Jerry Reed’s album The Bird, recorded at Fame Recording Studio in Muscle Shoals. He has toured with artists Blake Shelton, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Heartland, and Three On a String and performed with Collin Raye, Ricky Skaggs, Gary Nichols, James LeBlanc, Angela Hacker, Paul Thorn, Marty Raybon, Lenny LeBlanc, Billy Lawson, Mark Collie, Daron Norwood, Alabama members Teddy Gentry, Jeff Cook, the Grammy award-winning group Shenandoah, and many others. Curtis is guitarist, bassist and one of the harmony singers from the Shoals area. He is also a member of the Kerry Gilbert Band.
