The Alabama Music Hall of Fame presents Wade Brown and Gypsy Soul August 29 at 6:30

TUSCUMBIA-As the first round American Idol auditions approach and the excitement
builds, the Alabama Music Hall of Fame will host a performance by Wade
Brown, a former contestant of the show, featuring Gypsy Soul on August 29th.
Additionally, the Hall of Fame will also be unveiling a revamped American Idol
showcase that will include more contestants from across the state of
Alabama.
Wade Brown is a 24 year old singer/songwriter, hailing from Huntsville, AL by
way of Shreveport, Louisiana. In 2011, Wade appeared as a contestant on
Season 10 of American Idol, advancing to the Top 50. A year later he went on
to appear on Season 2 of The Voice as a member of Ceelo Green’s team. On
December 6, 2016, Wade released his debut EP entitled “Coffee,” which is
currently gaining buzz in the U.S. as well as in the UK. The project was
featured on the Soul Train Award Winning Singers Room, as well as AfroPunk.
Wade currently has some future projects in the works, including the
soundtrack for the graphic Novel “Giallo Gumbo”, which is scheduled for a
release at the end of 2017. Wade will also be joined by regionally renowned
singer Gypsy Soul.
“I am looking forward to the American Idol auditions that will be held on
September 7th, so I thought this would be a fun way to get everyone excited!
I highly encourage aspiring singers to come out and see Wade, and then come
back on Sept. 7 for the tryouts,” said Dixie Griffin.
The concert will be held in the Hall of Fame lobby. Tickets ($15.00) are
