Funeral services for Mr. Terry Wayne Freeman, age 64 of Ashland, will be held Tuesday January 11, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville. Burial will follow in the Ashland City Cemetery.
Mr. Freeman was born in Haines City, Florida, but had lived in Clay County for most of his Life. He had worked for several years for Gulf Shore Assemblies LLC, an automotive sub supplier. He was an unselfish man who loved to watch his grandkids play sports. He also enjoyed fishing, small engine repair and a big Alabama fan. He was a loving husband, father and paw paw.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years; Catherine Freeman, his children; Alex Griffin (Krystle) of Sylacauga, Kenneth Freeman of Bastrop, Tx, Stacey Nickelson (Tommy) of Houma, LA, Brian Freeman (Jessica) Sterlington, LA, Catherine Patterson of Ashland, Larry Patterson of Ashland, and Patricia Jenkins; grandchildren, Alaina Griffin, Chase Griffin, Kaitlynn Freeman, Paisley Freeman, Evan Freeman, Dylan Freeman, Ashley Ledet(Wayne), Dana Nickelson, Thomas Nickelson, Jr., Trey, Kenny Turley, Maria Patterson, Chris Denney, Nick Denney, Casey Green, Desiree Patterson Colclasure, Tim Mitchell and Justin Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Olivia Ledet, Carson Brewer and 11 other great-grands, two brothers, David Freeman(Wanda) and Jerry Dale Freeman; other extended family and friends.
Other than his parents Mr. Freeman was preceded by a daughter, Victoria Odell; son, Eddie Patterson; and siblings, Early Lane Freeman, Jr., and Charlotte Ann Freeman McQuire.
Active pallbearers will be; Alex Griffin, Tim Mitchell, Jack Neal, Brett Lovett, Bradley Lovett and Mario Hernandez.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 10, 2022 from 5:30-8:00 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville.
